Erlendis Quartet is one of the most active and successful guitar ensembles in Europe. It was founded by Anna Krupa, Adrian Furmankiewicz, Wojciech Jurkiewicz and Karol Mruk. Daniel Egielman joined them in 2023.
The ensemble, founded in 2013, has given over 300 concerts in 18 countries on 2 continents, performing in famous concert halls (including Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Centre Céramique in Maastricht, Santa Croce Church in Florence, NOSPR in Katowice, NFM in Wrocław, W. Szpilman Polish Radio Concert Studio in Warsaw, Wilanów Palace and others), as well as in many picturesque small towns both in Poland and abroad.
The quartet also collaborates with orchestras, performing, among others, with the Zielona Góra Philharmonic (Poland), the Toruń Symphony Orchestra (Poland), the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra (Ukraine), the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra (Germany), and the Brandenburg-Havel Theater Orchestra (Germany).
The quartet's concerts were recorded and broadcast in 7 countries (USA, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, and Poland).
The Erlendis Quartet has won 10 awards at international chamber music competitions in Poland, the US, Germany, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
