A string trio formed by three of the most recognizable young female instrumentalists in Poland, namely:
- Roksana Kwaśnikowska – violin
- Agnieszka Podłucka – viola
- Zuzanna Sosnowska – cello
Scholarship holders of the programs of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage: "Muzyczny Ślad" and "Scena Muzyki Polskiej". Winners of the "Together into the Future" Competition of the Silesia Sonans Foundation and the International Szczecin Classic Festival.
The mission of the Tansman Trio is to promote the work of its patron – Aleksander Tansman. In addition to performing his compositions, the ensemble places emphasis on 20th century classical music.
The trio has performed on the stages of the most important Polish concert halls (including the Warsaw Philharmonic, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Szczecin Philharmonic, Lublin Philharmonic and Rzeszów Philharmonic).
The members of the ensemble are graduates of the Zenon Brzewski General School of Music in Warsaw, and it was there that they were united by their common passion. The artists were educated at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Musikhochschule Lübeck and Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid.
The members are winners of top awards at prestigious international competitions, such as the Witold Lutosławski International Cello Competition in Warsaw, the Michał Spisak International Music Competition in Dąbrowa Górnicza, the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition in Sion. As experienced chamber musicians, their artistic achievements also include awards at chamber music competitions in Canada, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Poland.
