Jarosław Meisner is a graduate of the Music Schools in Bytom, where he studied in the legendary class of prof. Paweł Waloszczyk, and the Academy of Music in Katowice, from which he graduated with distinction in 2018. In 2022, he received the title of Doctor of Musical Arts.
He is a laureate of the main prizes of several international and national competitions, including: the 2nd International Trombone Competition in Alsace – France, the 16th International Brass Instrument Competition in Jeju – South Korea, the 14th International Brass Instrument Competition in Jeju – South Korea, the 74th International Music Competition "Prague Spring" in the Czech Republic, the 10th International Wind Instrument Competition in Brno, the 2nd International Wind Instrument Competition in Vilnius Wind Competition – Vilnius, the 6th International Andrejs Jurjans Competition in Riga, the International Wind Instrument Competition in Lviv, the 6th International Brass Instrument Competition in Gdańsk.
He is a two-time winner of the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and a scholarship holder of the
Young Poland program. During his studies, he received the Rector's scholarship four times and won the competition for the prestigious scholarship "Yamaha Scholarship Foundation of Europe".
He regularly collaborates with such orchestras as: the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (NOSPR), Sinfonietta Cracovia, the AUKSO chamber orchestra, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Capella Gedanensis, the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, the Lower Silesia Philharmonic, the Gorzów Philharmonic, the Opole Philharmonic, the Szczecin Philharmonic, the Zabrze Philharmonic, the Rybnik Philharmonic, the Polish Film Music Orchestra, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, and the Silesian Art Collective Chamber Orchestra.
In the artistic season of 2014/2015, he was employed at the Józef Elsner Opole Philharmonic, as a trombonist. In September 2017, he passed the auditions for the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (NOSPR), and since April 2018 he has been the first trombonist of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk. As a session musician, he has participated in the production of recordings for many albums and archival recordings. He is also a teacher of the trombone class in the Music Schools in Bytom and in October 2019 he began working at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. In October 2020 he also started working at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.
He has performed many times as a soloist with symphony and wind orchestras, including: the Lviv Philharmonic, Jeju Philharmonic Orchestra, Luxembourg Military Band, Polish Chamber Philharmonic in Sopot, AUKSO – Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy, Silesian Philharmonic, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Professional Symphonic Band “Rīga”, Vilnus Chamber Orchesra, Polish Youth Symphony Orchestra.
